The ResilCrops project team attends the TakeUp capitalisation training for Interreg programmes and project

Munich, 6 february 2026. ResilCrops project partners actively participated in the TakeUp Capitalisation Training for Interreg Programmes and Projects, held in Munich, Germany, from 4 to 6 February 2026. The three-day event brought together initiatives from the Interreg Atlantic Area alongside projects funded by other Interreg programmes, creating a collaborative space to exchange knowledge and strengthen project impact.

Representing the ResilCrops consortium, Dr Andrés Borges and Dr Jana Lorenzo took part in the intensive training sessions aimed at enhancing capitalisation strategies and maximising the long-term value of project results.

A Training Day That Flew By 🚀

One of the key highlights was a dynamic training day focused on the “7 Essentials of Capitalisation” — a practical framework designed to support projects in transferring, scaling, and sustaining their outputs beyond the project lifetime.

Through interactive workshops, peer-learning exercises, and group discussions, participants explored methodologies to:

  • Identify transferable project results
  • Engage target stakeholders and end users
  • Strengthen knowledge uptake
  • Build compelling cases for replication

The sessions reinforced the importance of capitalisation as a driver for extending project impact, ensuring that knowledge generated continues to create value well after project completion.

Building Synergies Across Interreg Projects

By convening projects from multiple Interreg programmes, the TakeUp training fostered cross-programme synergies and opened new opportunities for cooperation. Participants shared best practices, discussed common challenges, and explored pathways for transferring solutions across regions and sectors.

For ResilCrops, this exchange represents a significant step forward in reinforcing its capitalisation approach and aligning with broader European cooperation strategies.

Looking Ahead

The knowledge and tools gained during the Munich training will support ResilCrops in strengthening its capitalisation roadmap — enhancing communication, stakeholder engagement, and the scalability of project outcomes.

ResilCrops remains committed to maximising the long-term impact of its research and innovation activities, contributing to more resilient and sustainable agricultural systems across the Atlantic Area.
